After completing my cover letter & resume...

well firstly as i was developing my resume i did not know we were supposed to compose it of real life jobs(i was absent last class), i thought we were supposed to write about jobs we would want, that would look good on our resume for our future carreer. my future carreer is a veterianrian and before i went to speak to our professor in our office i did not know how my previous jobs at victorias secret or as a waitress would make sense on my resume. i now realize each job helped me learn a different skill through out life. i also did work in a vet office at the front desk so i know that will be excellent for my resume.

if i had more time on this project, which im going to b/c i am going to re-do my cover letter as well as my resume since I was absent last class and did not fully understand the assigment. i will now be able to really sit and think about how all my past jobs have helped me learn different skills.

the value i learned from writing my resume and cover letter is that even though i did not write one with my "real" jobs i have had, i learned how to write both a cover letter and a resume and i saw the things that will eventually look good on my resume in the future. after i write my new cover letter and resume i will learn how all of my jobs in the past and now have heloped me gain skills that i will use for the rest of my life.
