Currently I have written a rough draft that will be revised by my fellow peers to further evaluate my paper to see if it is up to par with cover letters that used in our field. From what I know, when applying to a hospital, immediately after a program, you are given the opportunity to work at the current hospital as well as offers for other hospitals in need of therapists. I printed out two cover letters on random topics to assist me with my cover letter as if I was applying for this job. My cover letter in my eyes seems to be well written out and after being revised, with complete my cover letter.
My cousin, who is currently at Respiratory Therapist, advised me that in this field, most jobs are given prior to even finishing the program. Many hospitals offer jobs to those certified in this profession and are in somewhat of a need in our economy. Writing exactly what has to be known is what I look to deliver in my cover letter/resume.
Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteWow it sounds like you have put a lot of thought into this project. Drawing on a professional is a really great way to help you write this document. Keep it up!
