Progress for project one
So far I have written my first draft of my cover letter. It is a very rough cover letter and it defenitly could use some sprucing up. I also have a paper where I have listed my strengths and weakness. In regards to my resume I have multiple rough copies of my due to the fact that I have been applying for jobs. Also I needed an updated resume for when I was applying to schools. I feel i have room for improvement in my cover letter. I have some problems that have been arising with my resume. I do not really have a lot to put on my resume out of high school. I have only held one job and that job is working at target. My problem is I have no real experience in my chosen feild as of yet. It is hard for me to direct my resume to a job I do not have any real experience in.

Ryan,
ReplyDeleteEven though you feel your experiences are limited you can still draw on those experiences and your qualities for your resume and cover letter. Think for a moment about what your employer might want in an employee. Then think about yourself and what you have accomplished so far. Take that and use it to craft a letter. Let me know if you need help with this.
