As of right now I’m pretty much at the very beginning of the project. I haven’t put any major thought into it outside of looking at specific positions. I think I’ve got the position I would think I’d have a realistic shot at getting, but I’m still trying to gather how I’m going to attack it. So I’d have to say I have some rough notes.
I’m trying to make myself look like a strong candidate despite the fact that I’m still in early on in my college career. I do have some work experience so that I think that is going to be a major benefit to me.
Gus,
ReplyDeleteMake sure you take time to transfer those rough notes into your cover letter and resume. Even if you are in your early college years you can draw from the experiences or qualities you do have. For instance, when I wanted to start my teaching career...at the begining I wanted to work in a writing center. So, I drew from my strenths as a student and my work with younger children as a camp counselor. Think about the experiences you have had and try to make them fit into the qualities you think an employer wants.
