My letter of complaint

1. My audience for this letter would be the people who worked with me and the head of the company. I wrote about my boss so I think this would get a lot of attention because I talked about how poorly he treated all of us.

2. I was able to organize my paragraphs with help from the textbook. I did not make my complaint in the first paragraph but instead I tried to start off in a nice way talking about the company. I then wrote out my complaint in details which I hope was able to show how upset I was. The last paragraph I gave my final thought and how I think the situation should be handled.

3. I think I might have come off a little mean but that’s because I had so much passion in writing it. Since I wrote about my boss I was able to let all my anger out in the letter. I think I might have to look at the setup of the letter a little bit more to make sure its set up correctly.

  1. I think you thought your complaint letter out very well. i would be careful writing about your boss because if he finds out you wrote the letter he might make the rest of your time there not so good. I started my complaint letter the same way. starting out nice but then going into the details, i think thats the best way to do it because it lets them know you want to be apart of the company but want the issue to get resolved.

  2. I agree with Andrew. I would be careful that this doesn't get back to your boss. If you ever need a reference know that your boss will not be one to use after you write this letter. Be careful that your tone isn't over aggressive. Consider how you could revise some sections out to develop a persuasive tone.
