Project 1 progress
While further developing my resume I am still in the process of picking which qualifications and experiences I should list on it. The resume is directed towards companies in the private security sector so not sure if I should add my job experience from before the Army because I don’t think it will help me getting the position I am applying for. Other than that my resume is fully developed and almost complete. I have worked with the same resume for awhile and just pulled certain things out and added other things in for different jobs that I am getting ready to apply for. The cover letter is complete but just needs to be proof read by someone else to see if there’s anything else that can be added or taken out.

It is good that you're thinking about what experiences would be more beneficial then others. That is what is great about having more than less. A tip when it comes to proofreading. You can do it yourself. My suggestion is to sit and read your paper out loud slowly. Listen for sections that sound funky and highlight them as you read. Otherwise if you want to have someone else read it I would have them read it out loud to you. Another direction would be to read it out of order. Sometimes our brain reads so fast that we pass over the sentence level errors. Let me know how this goes.
