1. I used the textbook and a past work resume I had used to develop my resume. I used both the information on my pre- made resume and the format in the text book to create it. I used jobfox.com to research a job and when I found one. (EnviroTrac) I then went to the website and read up on the career opportunities it presented. Once I had done the research I then thought about my past experiences and incorporated it into my resume.
2. If I had more time I would have done more research into the job to figure out better attributions I could contribute to my resume. I have had multiple jobs over the past few years but none of which directly related to my career, but my volunteer work has. I would have also done more research into figuring out a better format and a better way to organize my cover letter.
3. I found value in working on my cover letter since I have never written one before and this is only the second resume I have ever written so practice makes perfect.
