Reflect and discuss peer revision?
I believe that the peer revisions were great. I honestly think that if more than one person could of peer reviewed my papers; it would fully help me understand my errors or just over all suggest what words can be used and how each sentence was worded. Doing so, would make it a professional or more sophisticated paper. I am confident that my papers or projects are good but a peer revision or two doesn’t ever hurt.
Ones that worked, Specific what worked?
All the workshops done in class as well as projects that were peer reviewed were all a success. I took each comment with consideration and looked to only better my paper since at times I get writers block or use the wrong word in a sentence.
How did they help you revise projects?
They helped me revise my projects by leaving comments in the margins as well as highlighting and leaving suggestions on what should be changed or how a phrase could be interpreted in a certain way.
What ones did not work, be specific what didn’t work, what wasn’t helpful?
To me all of my peer revisions were a success. Whether it’s a friend or a complete stranger, it is their interpretation on how they been taught and any input is great for me. I didn’t take any comment or change as an insult but further sophistication for myself.
