Peer revision was helpful to my writing because people pointed out what was good about it and what I should fix. When you read you own writing a couple of times you don’t realize that some of the things in your own writing don’t make sense so when someone else peer revises it they find a lot more things then you can. Also it’s helpful to have ideas from other people on what to put in your writing sometimes other people’s ideas and opinions make your writing a lot better.
The peer revision that I thought was most helpful was when we revised the resume and we had two different people look at our writing. That was most helpful because you got two different people revising your writing and two different ideas; I think it’s easier because the more ideas and opinions you get the more you can improve the writing. The peer revision questions lists were kind of difficult sometimes because I’m used to reading and finding things, sometimes they get to be distracting and I would only concentrate on answering the questions rather than really reading the paper.
